Hallyu actress Park Shin Hye is about to star in a thriller film, titled Call. By the looks of its characters' posters, the movie will give a lot of spine-chilling moments to viewers.

Park will lead the Call along with Burning actress Jeon Jong Seo, Are You Human? star Kim Sung Ryung, and Goblin actress Lee El. The film will tell the story of two women living at different times who connect through a mysterious phone call.

Park plays the role of Seo Yeon, a strong-minded woman who lives in the present. Jeon portrays the role of Young Sook, a woman who lives in the past. She believes that the phone call that connects her to the future is her only chance to survive and will also force her to make dangerous choices.

The posters are in monochrome theme. In the poster, Park Shin Hye and Jeon Jong Seo are looking straight ahead with worried looks. Jeon, on the other hand, is seen clutches her chest as if her character is hiding a secret.

Kim Sung Ryung, meanwhile, plays the role of  Seo Yeon's mother while Lee El is Young Sook's mother. The two are expected to make the film more intense as it shows on the cold looks on their faces in the character posters.

Park Shin Hye and Jeon Jong Seo were confirmed in October to play the lead characters in the movie. Park revealed that she chose to do the thriller film because she wants the audience to see the different side of her as an actress. Park added that she is also fascinated by how her character changes emotions in chaotic situations.

She also cited director Lee Choong Hyun as another factor for deciding to star in Call. Lee gained recognition for his work in a 14-minute short film Ransom.

As for Jeon Jong Seo, Call is a chance for her to work together with some of the seniors she looks up to. Lee El, on the other hand, said she is thrilled and excited to play one of the most unique and interesting characters she has portrayed on screen.

The production of Call has started this month. It is scheduled to be released in cinemas this year.

Call is a reunion movie for Park Shin Hye and Kim Sung Ryung. The two worked together in The Heirs. In the hit K-drama, Kim played the role of Kim Tan's (Lee Min Ho) mother. Park, on the other hand, portrayed the role of Cha Eun Sang who is Kim Tan's love interest in the TV series. At present, Park stars in tvN sci-fi/romance Memories Of The Alhambra alongside Hyun Bin.
