EXO's D.O. Hilariously Teaches '100 Days My Prince' Cast The 'Growl' Dance
The cast of K-drama 100 Days My Prince groove to the tune of EXO hit single "Growl." Of course, their dance choreographer is no other than fellow cast member and EXO singer D.O. But their dance lesson turned into a hilarious session as D.O. himself seems to forget the step of "Growl."
The cast of the tvN drama earlier made a promise to their fans that if the show's viewership ratings surpassed 10 percent, they would dance as a group. Then a few weeks later, the October 9 episode of 100 Days My Prince scored an average rating of 10.26 percent and a peak of 10.90 percent, prompting the group to do their dance as promised.
The network shared a video of the cast fulfilling their promise as they dance to the tune of EXO's song "Growl." The clip showed the actors having a great time while learning the dance steps. At one point, D.O. is also seen falls to the floor while laughing. Watch the video below.
The 100 Days My Prince is a period romance about the fictional crown prince, Won Deuk (D.O.), who suffers from temporary amnesia and the oldest unmarried woman in the Joseon Kingdom, Hong Shim (Nam Ji Hyun).
The show is one of the top buzzworthy dramas this month along with JTBC's The Beauty Inside. The 100 Days My Prince airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on tvN at 9:30 p.m. KST.
Aside from the ongoing TV drama, D.O. will also star in the upcoming film Swing Kids and will also lend his voice to one of the characters in the animated film The Underdog. Both movies are set to be released later this year.
Additionally, D.O. is also busy preparing for the much-awaiting EXO comeback later this year. SM Entertainment has announced that the K-pop band is set to drop their fifth album Don't Mess Up My Tempo on November 2, with pre-orders already started on October 4. This will be EXO's first after more than a year since The War was dropped in July 2017, the September reissue The War: The Power of Music, and almost a year since the release of the winter special album Universe in December 2017.
The members have been busy with solo projects since then. They only performed together at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Closing Ceremony in February.
The forthcoming album will also feature EXO as a nine-member act. Member Lay already filmed for the music video of the title track and also participated in the Chinese music of the album. The group earlier teased the upcoming album with some motorcycle-themed photos featuring EXO's eight Korean members but without Lay.
