Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's wedding is still a much-talked-about topic up to this day. This is not just because the Song-Song couple is one of the most sought-after stars in South Korea, but because of its hefty cost. In spite of being a private event, some media outlets managed to reveal how lavish and extravagant the Descendants of the Sun stars' wedding was.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's wedding was held at Seoul's Shilla Hotel on October 31, 2017. The place is ideally made for small weddings. In fact, the Song-Song couple just had 150 guests. In the venue alone, the stars spent about 70 million KRW or $63,000.

For the feast, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo chose to serve their guests with fancy meals and side dishes. According to All Kpop, this included assorted vegetables, noodles, Tapioca pearl persimmon puree, beef drizzled with black bean sauce, and a lot more. Per guest, it cost them about 200,0000 KRW to 300,000 KRW or $180 to $270. In total, it cost 30 million to 54 million KRW or $27,000 to $40,500.

One of the most talked-about expensive parts of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's wedding was the latter's bouquet. The bunch of posh flowers was made of May Lily and was said to be a rare find in Korea. According to Pep PH, it just usually blooms from May to June in Finland. So, the Song-Song couple had it imported from Europe.

The wedding bouquet costs a whopping 10 million KRW or $9,000. However, it was a gift from Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's friend. On the other hand, the venue's floral decorations cost 50 million KRW to 80 million KRW or $45,000 to $72,000.

In addition, the Song-Song couple was wearing high-class couture made outfits. Song Hye Kyo wore a wedding dress from the fashion house, Christian Dior. It was said to be custom-made from the Fall 2017 couture collection. It was a white long-sleeved gown with a plunging neck detail that costs 32 million KRW or $30,000.

On the other hand, Song Joong KI donned a "peak-lapel" tuxedo from Dior Homme. The two-piece suit reportedly cost 2 million KRW or $2,000. Additionally, Song Hye Kyo's diamond-studded wedding ring was a part of Bee My Love collection made by the French luxury jeweler, Chaumet, and cost about 5 million KRW or $5,400. In total, the Song-Song couple spent 200 million KRW or $180,000 for their wedding
