BTS's much-awaited performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards finally happened and fans, especially the ARMY, couldn't help but praise their favorite K-pop band's talent. In fact, before the presentation itself, Mike Mahan, has nothing but kind words for V, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM, and J-Hope.

Ahead of BTS's performance of "Fake Love" at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Mahan praised the group when he saw their rehearsal. "Watching @BTS_twt rehearse for the #BBMAs!!! WOW!!!!!" he said in a tweet. He also teased that fans were about to see an "incredible performance" from the group, per AllKpop.

Dick Clark Productions is an American entertainment production company that help produce the biggest award ceremonies known in town. These include the Academy of Country Music Awards, the American Music Awards, and the recent 2018 Billboard Music Awards, which was graced by BTS.

Just like what Mahan teased, BTS indeed put on a show at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. From their performance to their moves and vocals, V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope showed everyone that they are truly back. To make fans more excited, Jungkook even gave a glimpse of his abs that had fans going absolutely wild.

The ARMY then couldn't help but share their excitement on social media after seeing BTS burning the 2018 Billboard Music Awards' stage with the debut performance of "Fake Love." If truth be told, according to Billboard, the favorite South Korean boy band was Twitter's "top-trender" in the United States. Millions of fans joined together as they tuned in to watch the group's much-awaited performance.

Shortly before they put on a show, they once again received the Top Social Artist Awards at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope just beat Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, and Justin Bieber. "Thank you so much for this precious award two years in a row," RM said as part of their thank you speech, via Metro.

RM then confessed that the whole BTS group thought of the real definition of the word "social" to them. As some fans told them that their music has changed their lives, now they know that their words "truly carry weight." "Army's out there! Guys keep us going!" he ended his speech. The group recently unveiled their new album Love Yourself: Tear on Friday, May 18.
