'Chicago Fire' Season 6 Finale Spoilers: Back-To-Back Episode 22 'One For The Ages,' Episode 23 'The Grand Gesture' To Reveal 3 Major Storylines Involving Severide, Boden, Dawson
The upcoming Chicago Fire Season 6 finale will feature two back-to-back episodes—Episode 22, "One For the Ages," and Episode 23, "The Grand Gesture." It will be a two-hour special event filled with a lot of intense drama and happenings that surround the life of Casey (Jesse Spencer), Dawson (Monica Raymund), Boden (Eamonn Walker), and, of course, Severide (Taylor Kinney).
It looks like Severide is in deep trouble as Renée (Sarah Shahi) will get his attention once again in the Chicago Fire Season 6 finale. In the upcoming back-to-back episodes, Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) will be meeting Renée for the first time before the latter invites her ex-boyfriend to her place, TV Guide reported.
Although Renée insists the talk is just going to be about the business, it looks like she has a different motive in the Chicago Fire Season 6 finale. In fact, Kidd will be questioning Renée's real intention as she will be struggling to spend some time with Severide since the latter returned.
Meanwhile, in an interview with the series' showrunner, Derek Haas, he revealed how he planned out Chicago Fire Season 6's finale. The 47-year-old writer told CarterMatt, Episode 22, "One For the Ages," and Episode 23, "The Grand Gesture," are going to reveal three major storylines.
Chicago Fire Season 6 finale's first storyline involves Boden's career move. As he is trying his best to become the department's new commissioner, it looks like he is going to battle it out against Grissom (Gary Cole), and things will get heated between the two as Boden will take the matter with his own hands.
The second big event happening in the finale of Chicago Fire Season 6 is Renée's return. She will use Severide's love for the fire department to get his attention. To recall, the two called it off when Renée lied about him being the father of her child. As she is evidently desperate to win him back, she will show him how good of a mother she is to her 5-year-old kid and how hard-working she is now. However, things will not look good knowing Severide is now with Kidd.
Lastly, Chicago Fire Season 6 finale's third storyline is about Dawson. Monica Raymund's character will once again try to get pregnant. The hardships she will be going through to have another baby will be featured in Episode 22, "One for the Ages," and Episode 23, "The Grand Gesture," which will air on Thursday, May 10, at 9/8c on NBC.
