Just like any other K-pop group, BTS members are also given the opportunity to release their solo singles despite being in a group. As expected, fans supported every member of the Big Hit Entertainment boy band, but one of them has a song that became the fastest solo K-pop video to reach 10 million views.

Big Hit released a video titled “Singularity” on May 6, 2018, on its official YouTube channel. The comeback trailer was a solo music video by BTS member V (Kim Tae-hyung).

Although reaching the million mark is nothing surprising for the seven-member South Korean boy band, V’s “Singularity” made a record as the fastest K-pop music video to reach 10 million views by a solo artist. The almost 4-minute video has already reached over 14 million views on YouTube as of this writing, and over 2 million likes just one day after its release.

V’s popularity had skyrocketed after the 22-year-old expanded his brand. The BTS member is not only a singer and a songwriter, but he officially became an actor when he took on the role of Seok Han-sung in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth in 2016.

Despite already having the taste of acting, V still has the overflowing passion for music, so he didn’t drop singing to be a full-time actor. However, with the success of his first ever Korean drama, it is not impossible for the BTS star to be a part of more television series in the future.

It also helps that V is one of the visuals in the K-pop world. In fact, old photos of him emerged online, and it served as proof the BTS singer has been a heartthrob since high school.

As for who the most popular member of BTS is, the boys support each other so much that they don't bother thinking who is a step ahead. Jin (Kim Seok-jin), Suga (Min Yoon-gi), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok), Rap Monster (Kim Nam-joon), Jimin (Park Ji-min), V, and Jungkook (Jeon Jung-kook) see each other as team members and not competitors, so they want nothing but the best for everyone.
