Fans are now waiting to see new idols from the upcoming Produce 48 survival reality show. To create more hype of the show, it had been revealed I.O.I and Wanna One members will grace the Mnet program to show support to the new trainees.

According to All Kpop, all 22 members of I.O.I and Wanna One met Produce 48 trainees on Sunday, April 22. This, too, was the time they filmed their special episode for the show.  Aside from showing their support to the new idols, they are also expected to give some pieces of advice to the show's aspirant K-pop idols.

Fans will see the 11 I.O.I members reunited once again in Produce 48. They were last seen complete in January 2017. To recall, they have been disbanded since the end of 2016.

Wanna One and I.O.I. were the new additions to Produce 48's list of guests aside from Jeon So-Mi and Kang Daniel. In fact, the two already filmed the Mnet show's first episode. However, the specific episode of the two famous k-pop group's appearance has not yet been revealed.

Meanwhile, Soompi reported all of Produce 48's trainees were part of Mnet's M!Countdown's recording on April 22. Here, they filmed the first part of their theme song. In fact, the network's source confirmed the news, although they are not yet revealing the exact release date of the performance.

To recall, it was earlier reported the Produce 48 trainees were already done recording their theme song's audio on Thursday, April 19. Hence, the anticipation of the upcoming song is now building as Flow Blow had something to do with it. The independent arranger and composer team of Korea is known for co-producing one of Wanna One's songs, "Energetic," and Produce 101 Season 2's official track, "Never."

Meanwhile, Produce 48 is going to be graced by 96 female trainees from Korea and Japan. The reality survival show is a byproduct of Produce 101 and Japan's AKB48 system's collaboration. The trainees who will win the series are set to promote together for two and a half years.

Produce 48 will be hosted by Lee Seung Gi and will premiere in June.
