Lee Jong Suk Eclipses Gong Yoo & Lee Je Hoon In Actors' Brand Reputation Rankings

Lee Jong Suk is on a roll! After starring in a movie alongside industry veterans and fronting a new hit Kdrama, the 28-year-old has topped the "movie actors" category of brand reputation rankings this September. 

The list was compiled by the Korean Business Research Insitute based on the data collected within Aug. 28 to Sept. 28. To determine their brand values, the organization analyzed 119,034,743 worth of data from across several categories including media coverage, community awareness, etc. 

As per AllKPop's report, Lee landed on the top spot with a total score of 8,620.701. "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God" actor Gong Yoo came at #2 with 5,508,147 then at #3 was Lee Je Hoon who starred in "Signal" with 5,454,665. 

In comparison, last month, it was Park Seo Joon of "Kill Me, Heal Me" and "Midnight Runners" who led the list with 9,716,059 points. Whereas the "While You Were Sleeping" star was at #10 with around 5,000,000 (via Soompi). 

Lee's quick climb to the number one spot in September did not come as a surprise. The actor was the talk of the town after he starred in the crime/thriller "V.I.P." with Park Jae Hyuk, Chae Yi Do and Park Hee Soon. 

Despite the movie's mixed reviews, Lee shed his boy-next-door charm to play the role of a psychopathic serial killer. The role is starkly different from what fans were used to see in his romantic dramas such as "High Kick! 3," "Pinocchio," and "W: Two Worlds."

The September Movie Actor Brand Reputation List also includes Kim Nam Gil (#4), Ryu Jun Yeol (#5), Song Joong Ki (#6), Kim Soo Hyun (#7), Son Kyung Gu (#8), Lee Nyung Hun ($9) and Kimm Joo Hyuk (#10).
