Trollhunters Season 2

Jim (Anton Yelchin) is heading into the Darklands to save Baby Enrique and, once and for all, end the terror of Gunmar (Clancy Brown) in "Trollhunters" Season 2. However, to achieve his goals, he would need all the help he can get. Will the fantasy animated series bring back one of its strongest and most beloved heroes, Argh, when Jim finally confronts the leader of the Gumm-Gumm Army?

Argh has been an important part of Jim's journey to become a Trollhunter. Together with Blinky, the large but gentle Troll showed up at the young man's doorsteps and train him to become their chosen warrior.

In order to protect his new friends, Argh, a pacifist who took a vow of non-violence, was forced into battle. He died and turned into stone in the middle of the Troll Market.

Many were heartbroken to see the end of the story of the gentle giant's story, but maybe there is a way to bring him back to life. Producer Chad Hamme hinted (via Comicbook.com) that they have not ruled out the possibility of seeing him rejoin Jim, Blinky (Kelsey Grammer) and, of course, his wingman Toby (Charlie Saxton).

"I would tune into Season 2 to find out," he stated. "That's why it's called a cliffhanger."

As for Jim, producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that the young man grow in "Trollhunters" Season 2. In fact, fans will see him develop some new abilities that will help him survive the Darklands and maybe defeat Gunmar.

"He's growing with the series," Guggenheim explained. "He's growing in the way that he knows how to not only deal with the fights and crazy stuff that he's doing but also how he left his friends and all that kind of stuff."

"Trollhunters" has been renewed to Season earlier this year. Netflix is yet to announce an exact premiere date, but the next chapter of the animated series is expected to drop online some time this year.
