YG Entertainment Announces Another Survival Show: Sequel to The One That Made Ikon and Winner
YG Entertainment is a South Korean entertainment company that was established by Yang Hyun Suk in 1995. The entertainment company works as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management company and even concert producers. YG Entertainment also acts as a Media Publishing House for all its latest releases.
YG Entertainment recently announced that the company has been preparing to air a survival show which will feature all of their trainees. The new show will see all the trainees fight and compete against each other for survival and get a chance to debut with YG Entertainment. The show will be similar to the previous YG Entertainment survival programs that resulted in iKON and Winner making their debut with the company.
YG Entertainment plans on including its most popular and sought after trainees like Bang Yedam who is just 15 years old currently. It could be a huge deal if someone like Bang Yedam wins the show. There are rumors floating around that suggest Choi Hyun Seok will also be taking part in the new show. Choi Hyun Seok is one of the best YG Entertainment rapper trainees currently and has a huge fan following already.
The company plans on recruiting other trainees for the show as well, like Kim Joon Kyu and Choi Rae Sung who will fight for survival and a chance at k-pop fame in the new TV series. Whoever manages to win the show, stands a chance to debut with the highly talented and successful producers at YG Entertainment.
Although the show seems to be creating a lot of hype, there are some fans that find survival shows barbaric. These fans do not agree with YG Entertainment's ideology as contestants will be put through tough and grueling stages just for the entertainment of the viewer. Whichever be the case, the company plans on debuting the show later this year.
