Big Bang member G-Dragon made it to the 'Billboard 200' album chart for the third time with his latest solo album 'Kwon Ji Yong'. The rapper released his 4th solo album on June 8 and immediately topped domestic and international music charts.

'Kwon Ji Yong' debuted at the 192nd place on the 'Billboard 200' music chart, YG Entertainment said on June 12. The 'Billboard 200' ranks the 200 best-selling and most popular albums of the week, based on online and offline sales as well as the number of digital streaming. In 2012, G-Dragon also entered the 'Billboard 200' with previous album 'One of A Kind' and also with 'Coup D'etat Pt. 1' in 2013.

'Kwon Ji Yong' sold over 4,000 copies in the US as soon as it was released, breaking G-Dragon's previous one-day sales record. The Big Bang member's 4th solo album also entered the Billboard World Albums chart and Heatseekers Albums chart.

Aside from grabbing spots on Billboard charts, G-Dragon also conquered iTunes charts in 39 countries. 'Kwon Ji Yong' topped the charts in countries like the US, Canada, Argentina, France and Hong Kong. According to Big Bang's agency, the album also grabbed spots on charts in Malaysia, Indonesia, Norway, Spain, and Singapore. The title track 'Untitled' also achieved a 'perfect all-kill' in 8 Korean music charts - a first for an artist since the streaming system change.

Despite the scandals surrounding Big Bang as of late, G-Dragon's 'Kwon Ji Yong' managed to claim success globally. 'Untitled' even swept China's QQ Music charts, taking categories like a new song, music video, K-pop music video, trending, and popularity. G-Dragon made his solo debut with 'Heartbreaker' in 2009 but garnered more attention with his second solo album 'One of a Kind' when it debuted on the 'Billboard 200'. Even with an issue arising regarding the sales of his USB drive album, the Big Bang leader proves his success just cannot be stopped.
