G-Dragon Shares His Personal Struggles of Being a Top Idol

BIGBANG has been making the headlines for quite a while now. The group’s leader G-Dragon has released a new album and he is gaining much attention for his solo comeback. In light of fellow member T.O.P’s scandal, G-Dragon reportedly changed his title track to avoid adding up to the controversy.

G-Dragon recently kicked off his solo comeback with the release of the new album, “Kwon Ji Jyong”. His self-titled album, as well as its title track, were announced early this month. YG Entertainment described his new album as a way for the artist to honestly illustrate his human nature. However, it seems like G-Dragon changed his title track just before his full solo comeback.

More than a week ago, it was revealed that G-Dragon’s title song from his new album was “BULLSH*T”. The song was introduced to be a powerful hip hop track created by the BIGBANG singer together with Teddy and CHOICE37. On the date of G-Dragon’s official comeback, he announced that “Untitled” will be his title track instead.

The sudden switch with his title song has made fans speculate that it has something to do with T.O.P’s current scandal. G-dragon clearly did not want to add fuel to the fire and did not want more attention to BIGBANG. The group has been in the spotlight lately because of T.O.P’s ongoing investigation regarding his case wherein he was charged with illegal use of marijuana.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that IU will be joining G-Dragon in his upcoming solo concert, which is called “G-Dragon 2017 Concert: Act III, M.O.T.T.E”. It will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on June 10. The “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” actress attended the concert rehearsals to complete the preparations. IU will reportedly perform her song, “Palette”, which G-Dragon featured in.
