Game developer Maxis recently unveiled its newest gaming title named "The Sims Mobile." The iOS and Android game even contains several gameplay elements from "The Sims 4" such as a few of its in-game objects, careers, hobbies and more.

Avid "The Sims 4" gamers will soon have the chance to create a new Sim family and embark on new in-game adventures using their mobile devices. "The Sims Mobile" will mark Maxis' latest mobile game development for "The Sims" franchise and will not replace "The Sims Freeplay," according to the company's announcement, as obtained by Sims VIP.

Similar to "The Sims 4," as well as other versions of the life simulation game, gamers can create distinct Sim characters, build and decorate homes, as well as control a Sim's destiny. However, in "The Sims Mobile," game developers added a new feature where players can have their Sim socialize with another gamer's character. Invitations to in-game social events such as a Sim's birthday party can also be sent to other members of the gaming community.

Meanwhile, several elements from "The Sims 4" and its various DLCs can also be seen in "The Sims Mobile." The said iOS and Android game boast of active careers and hobbies that are already available in the game's PC version. Some of these elements include the doctor's career found in the PC game's "Get to Work" pack, as well as hobbies such as dancing and yoga that were introduced through the "Get Together" and "Spa Day" DLCs, respectively.

However, what made "The Sims Mobile" different from "The Sims 4" are its real-time actions, interactive gameplay, and microtransactions. Moreover, Maxis added unlockable traits that can only be gained once a specific item is collected, according to the Sims Community. An example would be the "Lucky" trait where gamers would need the "Lucky Doves Charm" or gaining the "Leader" trait by getting a "Leadership Charm."

"The Sims Mobile" was recently soft-launched in Brazil for iOS and Android devices. Maxis is set to release the said game in other gaming markets soon.
