Fans are definitely arguing with what could happen to "Produce 101 Season 2" Trainee Kang Daniel as he was tagged as a cheater and unfair. Sources told that Kang has been spotted doing some stuff that could ultimately bring him to the top of the game. What could be the actual response of MNET with this situation? How did Kang Daniel take all the accusations being thrown to him?

According to Soompi, Mnet decided to make a poll online for viewers to vote for a specific song that would best match for a trainee. News revealed that each song with the most number of votes would then be performed by the trainees, so as to keep their life in the reality show stable.

The problem then arose when a viewer uploaded a post to a forum, asking Daniel Kang to pick a song that he preferred by changing the number of cat emojis on his Instagram account. Daniel then changed his biography into 4 emojis which implies that he would want to sing "Never", the fourth song on the poll. With this, the fan uploaded the screenshot of Kang's desire and immediately told everyone that the trainee would likely pick "Number 4".

After the said scenario, other viewers believed that Kang was being unfair with the other trainees. It is also revealed that those who are caught cheating online would receive a 10-point penalty and that viewers believed that Daniel Kang deserves to have one. As the issue arises, Kang Daniel released a statement that says, "I will think before acting. I apologize."

Meanwhile, All Kpop reported that Mnet is already discussing what could happen with Daniel Kang. As of this moment, they acknowledged the complaints of the viewers and admitted that they are currently looking into it. As they stated, "We acknowledge the fairness controversy around Kang Daniel and we're currently looking into it. We will be talking about what to do after we have understood what happened."
