May 2nd, 2017: Apple's 2017 iPhone is set to be a game changer for flagship mobile phones in the smartphone market. To mark the 10th anniversary of the long-running line of iPhones, Apple will completely redesign the phone. Some may argue that the iPhone 6 was a radical design change but this one is set to be bigger than that.

With the recent video released by YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger we get a definite idea of what the redesign could look like. Gordon Kelly and Benjamin Geskin from Forbes teamed up with Lewis from Unbox Therapy in order to produce a 3D printed model of the new iPhone 7s.

The new schematics for the 2017 iPhone fit snugly inside the existing renders of the iPhone. These schematics were the basis of the 3D print created by Gordon, Benjamin, and Lewis.

The result is an amalgamation and composite of hints and leaks from industry insiders. The video reveals a design that is based on the leaked schematics of the iPhone 7s. The design showcases a dramatically redesigned iPhone 7s with a much larger display but with the same footprint as the iPhone 7.

Some of the features observed in this video reveal include A Full-Screen Display (Almost), the Highest screen to body ratio: when compared to devices currently available on the market, A display size increase from 4.7" to 5.8/5.7"A switch from LCD to OLED displays, A larger aspect ratio because of the speculated screen resolution: 2800 x 1242, a Touch id Embedded in the main display, Dual vertical rear cameras, Lightning port and no USB Type C, still No headphone jack, Contact based wireless charging and a Glass and Stainless Steel Chassis.

Apple is currently testing other prototypes as well, including this rubbish Plan B. But the recent leaks all point in the direction of this newly redesigned smartphone by Apple. It remains a matter of time to see which model the tech giant decides to go with.
