Fans may think that BIG BANG leader G-Dragon is reluctant to enter mandatory military service but they couldn't be more wrong. The global K-pop and fashion icon is ready and willing to do his duty for this country even if it means taking a break from his successful music and fashion career for two years.

According to a report by Celebeat, G-Dragon has expressed willingness and readiness to enlist for mandatory military service like any other South Korean male citizen. Fellow BIG BANG member T.O.P. entered military training in February and is now in his fifth month of serving as a police officer in Gangnam.

"Whenever our country calls us, we'll go," G-Dragon said. "We don't know when or who it will be, so I want to show people the five-member BIGBANG for as long as we're allowed."

BIG BANG is temporarily taking a hiatus as a five member group pending the completion of T.O.P., G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri's mandatory service. It was earlier reported that the boys wanted to enlist at the same time but their contract at YG would not allow them all to be away at the same time.

G-Dragon and Taeyang are expected to receive their enlistment dates later this year but before that, the BIG BANG leader is set to release his solo album. He is also set to embark on a 19-city world entitled Act III: MOTTE World Tour.

G-Dragon initially announced his solo concert for June 10 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium but tickets sold out for the 65,000 seater venue in just 8 minutes since ticket sales opened. Now, YG Entertainment and G-Dragon himself announced that they are taking the concert around the world.

According to Billboard, G-Dragon's "Act III: MOTTE" will kick off in Seoul on June 10, Macau on June 17, Singapore on June 24 and 25, Bangkok on July 7 and 8. GD will fly to the US and start his US leg in Seattle on July 11, San Jose on July 14, Los Angeles on July 16, Houston on July 19, Chicago on July 21, Miami on July 25 and New York on July 27.

G-Dragon will take on Toronto on July 30, Sydney on August 5, Brisbane on August 8, Melbourne on August 12 and Aukland on August 16. He will end his tour in Japan as he performs in Fukuoka on August 19, Osaka on August 22 and 23 and Tokyo on September 19-20.
