Lee Hyori's Reality Show 'Hyori's Home Stay' Becomes Most Searched Topic, Receives Massive Amount Of Applications From Fans

Lee Hyori's new reality show is turning out to be quite a hit even before it starts filming. Aside from becoming the #1 most searched topic online,  it has gathered an insane amount of applications in a short span of time.

According to a report by Soompi, JTBC's new reality show for Lee Hyori entitled "Hyori's Home Stay" has received over 5,000 applications from fans who want to participate in the program. The show's concept revolves around Hyori as the hostess of a guesthouse in Jeju Island.

Fans can send their applications to participate in the show but in just a short time after online applications were made available, the topic became the most searched topic online. Fans wanted to see how Lee Hyori lives in her day to day life.

As for the qualifications for becoming part of the show, the PD for "Hyori's Home Stay" are screening applicants and are hoping to narrow down the list to the most qualifies. They said that they were also overwhelmed by the positive reaction to Lee Hyori's show.

"I didn't expect this kind of popular reaction. I am thankful and overwhelmed at the same time," the PD of Lee Hyori's show "Hyori's Home Stay" said. "I will choose applicants after looking over their submissions carefully. We hope to bring people of various relationships for diversity."

According to a report by Korea Times,  "Hyori's Home Stay" will feature Lee Hyori and her husband lee Sang Joon as they operate a hostel for tourists. Their guests will be able to stay at their inn free of charge regardless of the duration of their stay.

This is a very good opportunity for Lee Hyori and her husband to showcase the beauty of the island which they have considered their home since 2013. This will also give fans a chance to interact with the popular actress who has not appeared on television since 2013. "Hyori's Home Stay"  is expected to air on JTBC starting June.
