‘Goblin’ Actor Lee Dong Wook Thrills Fans With Special Serenade, Holds Successful Singapore Fan Meeting
Lee Dong Wook continues to delight Asian fans with a series of fan meeting events that features special games and performances. Recently, the "Goblin" actor traveled to Singapore where more than 1,000 fans spent an enjoyable time bonding with the said South Korean celebrity.
The Singaporean leg of Lee Dong Wook's 2017 fan meeting tour dubbed "For My Dear" was marked with several delightful moments as the "Goblin" star entertained around 1,200 attendees. Held on April 15, Saturday, at the Marina Bay Sands, the actor made his fans happy by fulfilling some of their wishes, Korea Herald reported.
Lee Dong Wook even showcased his singing skills as he serenaded his Singaporean fans with a duet performance of one of the songs from the "Goblin" soundtrack. The actor sang "I Miss You," a track originally sung by Sistar's girl group member Soyou, with one of the audience members.
Apart from the song performance, Lee Dong Wook also played several games with lucky event attendees. A few fans even had the chance to reenact some of the actor's memorable scenes from "Goblin."
Meanwhile, the "My Girl" star's recent Singapore fan event marked the second leg of the said South Korean celebrity's Asian fan meeting tour. Lee Dong Wook is set to travel to Hong Kong to bond with his Chinese fans in May, to be followed by fan events in Indonesia, Thailand and Japan.
In other news, Lee Dong Wook shared his thoughts about his acting career during the actor's recent "On the Air" show broadcast through the V Live app. The "Goblin" star mentioned that he was able to naturally convey the needed feelings for emotional scenes given his total immersion of a specific script and his character's personality, Soompi reported.
Lee Dong Wook starred as the Grim Reaper in the hit fantasy series "Goblin." The said drama aired its final episode in late January on tvN.
