According to the official synopsis for "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 18, Agent Hannah Wells and Jason Atwood come back from North Dakota. They have returned with a new lead that is critical in nature. Meanwhile, the investigation being carried out Abe Leonard takes a shocking turn. Elsewhere, President Kirkman considers candidates for the posts of Vice President and Congresswoman Kimble Hookstraten finds herself in a scandal storm.
