The newly released sneak peek for "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 17 entitled "The Ninth Seat" shows Seth Wright heading to his office. There is Abe Leonard sitting on the couch catching Wright by surprise. Wright asks him to get out of his office.
"I have been working on this story, Seth," Leonard says. The journalist reveals that he was sent to the Middle East and Asia to do a story on Al Sakhar. Leonard reveals that Al Sakhar didn't blow up the Capitol. According to Leonard's report, Al Sakhar didn't have the money, resources or smarts to execute such a massive plan on the foreign soil. He tells Wright that the White House was played by someone. He gives Wright a day to come up with a response before he runs the story in the press.
