‘The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’ Update: Producer Suggests An Open World For The Future Zelda Games

Another new stunning future to come in the popular "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." According to the game's longtime producer Eiji Aonuma, games will likely continue using expansive, open-world settings.

Eiji Aunoma suggested the idea during in an interview with Famitsu. He was asked whether Zelda games will continue to use the uniqueness of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." Aonuma then teased that there are more open-world Zelda in the future

"I think that, in the future, open air games will be the standard for Zelda," Aunoma said.

During the same interview, Eiji Aonuma also explains how "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" falls in the history of Hyrule, saying the history of Hyrule changes over time.

"As a matter of fact, there have been several times so far that once determined history has changed." He added. "Even the details in history textbooks are gradually changing. So this time, the situation is as if I found new ancient documents."

Aside from the new future plans for the Zelda games, the Nintendo seems to have still no plan to make another game in the series. "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is the first game installment after the company released "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" in 2011

Speaking of, the Square Enix company express their keen interest in developing and producing new titles to the Nintendo Switch console, saying that the company president, Yosuke Matsuda, were more interested in the Switch, than the upcoming Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio.

In the recent news, another game has hit the Nintendo Switch console lately, the "LEGO City Undercover" game, which previously exclusive for Wii U is now available for the latest console. Also, the Nintendo confirmed that it has major plans for the upcoming E3 2017 in June.
