The romantic comedy-drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" recently reached an impressive milestone. Given its strong TV ratings, Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young's series broke JTBC's drama ratings record.
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" has been enjoying steady TV ratings with its viewership share increasing to a higher level every week. Released in Feb. 24, Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young's drama started off with a nationwide rating of 3.8 percent that gradually rose to 8.6 percent. However, its recent viewership share surpassed JTBC's record of 9.2 percent held by the 2012 series "Childless Comfort."
"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 8 registered ratings of 9.6 percent across the South Korean nation, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by Soompi. Aired on March 18, Saturday, the episode also posted viewership shares of 10.2 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area.
The said episode featured several exciting scenes such as Gook Doo's (Ji Soo) admission to his former girlfriend Hee Ji (Seol In Ha) that he has romantic feelings for Bong Soon (Park Bo Young). Moreover, viewers witnessed a sweet moment in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" episode 8 where the said Herculean heroine started to realize that she is beginning to like Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik).
Set against a scenic backdrop, Min Hyuk explained to Bong Soon that a platonic relationship between a man and a woman can change with one move.
