When "Game of Thrones Season" returns to the small screens with its Season 7 run, viewers will see the new challenges that await beloved characters. Recently, Isaac Hempstead Wright shared some interesting information about his character Bran's quest and the said Stark sibling's journey into becoming the new Three Eyed Raven.

The HBO TV adaptation of George RR Martin's novels "A Song of Ice and Fire" is set to cap off its small screen saga with two final seasons that will feature an epic battle between man, dragons and the White Walkers. Latest "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers teased of Bran's new journey with Meera (Ellie Kendrick) as his only companion and protector.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Isaac Hempstead Wright commented that the said Stark sibling will continue to encounter challenging scenarios in the upcoming new season of the HBO series. With Bran and Meera all alone in a snowy forest away from family and allies, things will "not [be] looking great" for the duo, according to the actor.

Moreover, given Bran's new role as the Three-Eyed Raven, the said character will feel overwhelmed although he will also strive hard to rise to the challenge of fulfilling his new purpose despite the difficulties that he will soon encounter. Hempstead Wright added, "Bran has certainly understood that this is out of his control now. He's a piece on the chessboard that has to make a move, and he hasn't got any moves."

Isaac Hempstead Wright also described the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7 as a chapter that will delve on "connections." However, he declined to comment whether Bran will be able to reunite with his adoptive brother Jon (Kit Harington), as well as other siblings Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams).

In other news, Jim Broadbent recently revealed the role that he will portray in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. The "Harry Potter" actor told Screen Crush that he is slated to play an "archmaester" which he described as an "old professor" type of character.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be released on a different broadcast schedule this year. Unlike earlier seasons, the upcoming penultimate season is expected to air in summer on HBO.
