K-pop groups are becoming famous not only in the youngsters among Korea but also worldwide. In fact, even those who are practicing their profession have their own bets among the idols. One example is the airman of a Korean airforce who happily shared the perspectives of the military on K-pop idols.

Reddit user OwlOfJune firstly presented himself as a member of Korean airforce on the site's K-Pop community. He said that he has two-year mandatory service while offering his viewpoints as a Korean citizen in regards to K-Pop. Koreaboo reported that although he introduced himself pretty well, some users asked for additional proof, so as a response, he posted his username together with his photos wearing his military uniform.

After providing proofs of identity, OwlOfJune offered a statement telling the Reddit users to not take his view as a representative of the whole military service.

"Do NOT take my words here to be representative of whole Korean and/or soldiers here though, things may or may not be different in army/navy and in different bases," said OwlOfJune on his Reddit post.

After which, he admitted about having a slight interest in music and K-Pop prior to entering the military. However, when he started with his service with the air force, he has become "crazy" on several groups such as OH MY GIRL, Lovelyz, APRIL, and GFRIEND. Meanwhile, this is nothing new with many soldiers as they are also a fan of various K-Pop girl groups.

He also shared that that BLACKPINK, SONAMOO, Dreamcatcher, and Red Velvet are the groups that most military men would watch. OwlOfJune also said that BIGBANG is the most liked boy group among the airforce. Meanwhile, I.O.I and Produce 101 are some of the shows that most military men are watching.
