Park Bo Gum To Explore Wild Side? Actor Expressed Interest To Portray Song Joong Ki’s ‘Werewolf Boy’ Role
It appears that Park Bo Gum is not afraid to try out new things to expand his acting career, as well as hone his craft. Recently, the actor revealed a role, previously portrayed by his label mate Song Joong Ki, that he would be interested in for a future project.
Park was very candid during his recent Thailand fan meeting where he serenaded the event attendees and even played fun activities. Held on Feb. 11, Saturday, Song even appeared during the event to help his celebrity friend entertain local fans.
Apart from the fun games and the music performance, Park also expressed his appreciation for the love and support that he received from fans. The actor even highlighted the Thailand fans' efforts when they waited for him at the airport despite the late hour.
In the interview portion of Park's Thailand fan meeting, the "Reply 1988" and Song were asked to identify a role portrayed by the other actor that each would like to try. The "Descendants of the Sun" star chose Park's role in the KBS drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds."
For Park, he chose Song's role in the movie "Werewolf Boy," Korea Herald reported. Released in 2012, Song had very little dialogues in the film and had to convey the character's feelings through his actions and eyes.
In other news, Park shared in an earlier interview that he still has a lot to learn about acting, Soompi reported. He even admitted that he considers his acting abilities as "lacking."
The actor also opened up about his friendship with Song and how he treats his labelmate as an older brother. Described as a wise man, Song would even impart acting tips and gift delicious treats, according to Park.
Meanwhile, Park is nearing the end of his 2017 Asian fan meeting tour. After traveling to Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Tokyo, Jakarta and Bangkok, the actor will next visit Singapore before heading back to Seoul for a final fan event.
