Singer-songwriter IU and indie singer Jang Ki Ha finally ended their relationship after four years of dating.

The musical couple finally called it quits after a series of breakups and reconciliations.

According to allkpop, Ilgan Sports reported that the couple broke up sometime two weeks ago.

Jang Ki Ha's agency Dooroodooroo first confirmed the couple's breakup.

"It's true they recently broke up, they decided to remain good senior-junior to each other," said Dooroodooroo.

IU's management label Loen Entertainment followed by giving the same statement.

The couple first only made their relationship public in October 2015 after Dispatch released photos of the couple on dates.

They first met in 2013 when the songstress made a guest appearance on Jang Ki Ha's radio show.

IU revealed that she fell in love at first sight for him at that moment.

"There is a lot I learn from him and I am grateful for him," Koreaboo quoted IU as saying. "We argue and cherish each other like just any other couple. And I'm sorry but I guess this is the beginning of an open relationship."

The 34-year-old vocalist of Kha & The Faces and radio host for SBS Power FM's "Kiha Chang's Great Radio," who's 11 years older than IU, claimed that he doesn't feel the huge difference on their age.

"It doesn't mean that a couple will connect better if they are the same age. There are so many factors that lead to personality connection," Jang Ki Ha said in an interview with Ilgan Sports last year, according to allkpop.

He also believed that their relationship enhanced their musical abilities as they're both musically inclined.

He said they recommend songs to each other and have learned to appreciate some songs they haven't given much attention before just because the other recommended it.

"We are also able to improve musically together that way," he said.
