The CNN uses a screenshot footage from a video game called "Fallout 4" as they uncover the truth behind the alleged hacking of Russia to the White House. CNN made a report about the hacking and was caught using a video game footage.

Bethesda Softworks confirmed the screenshot footage used by the CNN as the background was taken from the highly anticipated "Fallout 4" RPG game. At first, fans and players across the globe recognized the said footage and the video quickly went viral on the internet said the CNET.

The CNN reported the said hacking story last December 30, 2016. The CNN was covering the comments and reactions of the United States President-Elect Donald Trump about the Russian hacking. Moscow was accused of hacking the White House and it was called as the Significant malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities as per the Forbes reported.

In the CNN new video, the background used was a zoomed screenshot of the "Fallout 4" hacking mini-game. "Fallout 4" uses a mini-game similar to a puzzle and guessing game to unlock doors for secret items and secret passage for the game.

Fallout 4 fans were not happy about the issue where CNN used the "Fallout 4" footage. A Reddit user even said that his parents become suspicious ever since they knew about the hacking footage where his parents used to see the same image every time he played "Fallout 4" on his Windows PC.

After a while, CNN was able to replace the video clip, but the original new video was kept in the YouTube channel. Some of the footage of the CNN news can be seen right down below.
