Recent news and speculations regarding "The Crown" Season 2 centers on the notions that Princess Diana's life will not be a part of the segment. There are also notions that Claire Foy has no plans on negotiating with Netflix regarding her pay and her role for the series.

There are also notions that Netflix is treading carefully with the production for "The Crown" Season 2. However, a lot of things are expected to occur in the upcoming episodes of "The Crown" Season 2 despite the rumors coming about.

Inquisitr also reported that it is not yet certain on whether the life of Princess Diana would be a part of scenes for "The Crown" Season 2. Moreover, the storyline would still focus on Queen Elizabeth and other characters as well.

Korea Portal also mentioned that"The Crown" Season 2 will be a time in Elizabeth II's reign that ushers in the beginning of the Queen's display of political power and this is the time in her rule that witness changes in Prime Ministers, one after another after Churchill's resignation. Claire Foy who's playing the Queen will be exposed to three more casts, Jeremy Northam, Harold Macmillan and Sir Alec Douglas-Home. It stands out that "The Crown" Season 2 is assumed to showcased the life and ordeals of Queen Elizabeth along with her family, but there has been no confirmation from Netflix that they would be incorporating the life of the former princess of Wales into the segment.
