The legendary pop singer Britney Spears doesn't seem to be lying low soon as her upcoming MTV Video Music Awards performance is creating buzz in the pop community. This is big news because she'll be performing again after almost 10 years. It gives hope to fans who are thinking that the 34-year-old might be readying for showbiz retirement soon. Her promotional video includes a python and artifacts of her past VMA shows. This reminds us of her iconic python-draped performance. However, the show will not include a reptile this time. This is a great disappointment to many as the python performance made the previous VMAs memorable.

Britney will be showcasing her latest hit Make Me... The 2016 VMAs will be held in New York City's Madison Square Garden. She recently released a choreography of this song which made fans look forward to the big performance. Moreover, she will also feature a track from her upcoming album, Glory.

Fans are all the more excited to know that rapper G-Eazy will be joining the singer.

Britney is an old-timer in the music awards event and she expressed her appreciation in the said promotional video saying "The VMAs don't give you a stage. They give you a story. Some way of taking a fraction of a second and making it live forever. Before you know it - it's history. Before you know it... it's Britney b*tch."

Looking back at her 2001 VMAs, it's interesting how the singer made another history again. The iconic performance many years ago involved an albino snake named Banana and the Slave 4 U singer popularized yet another trend. However, she was reportedly not happy with the experience. In a recent interview, she said, "Oh my goodness! It's insane! Why did I do that?"

Britney never fails to surprise fans and this event will once again prove that she's still the world-renown Princess of Pop.
