Avril Lavigne And Chad Kroeger Divorce Is On Hold? Couple Trying To 'Fix' Things?
Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have reportedly put on hold their divorce plans in order to work on their marriage together.
The "Hello Kitty" singer confirmed back in September last year that she and the Nickelback frontman will be seeking divorce. She wrote on her Instagram back then, "It is with heavy hearts that Chad and I announce our separation today."
Then following the divorce announcement, Avril Lavigne was sparked dating rumors after she was spotted several times on what seemed like romantic dates with long-time friend Ryan Cabrera.
They were spotted reportedly getting quite cozy at the pre-Grammys party on Feb. 14 at the Beverly Hilton.
"They may no longer consider themselves husband and wife, but Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne were each other's red carpet dates on Valentine's Day," reported Us Weekly.
Avril Lavigne also posted on Instagram a photo of her estranged husband, Chad Kroeger, which prompted the rumors that they dropping the divorce and are trying to get back together. She captioned the image, "Great Party .... Feeling great. Lovely night."
Her followers were immediately wondering if the couple are back together because of the photo.
Meanwhile, People reported that it wasnt' the first time that Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger were reported to be working on their marriage together and not following through with the divorce.
"The former couple, who announced their separation after two years of marriage in September, were photographed walking out of the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood," it said. "Lavigne, 31, was dressed casually in Nike sneakers and a one-piece sweatsuit while the Nickelback rocker, 41, was all-smiles in a plaid button-down and dark denim."
But they could just be working on some music together as announced by Lavigne back in October last year, although it should be noted that their divorce is not final yet.
Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger tied the knot in the south of France on July 1, 2013.
