No Signs For 'Phineas And Ferb' Spin Off In Near Future As Creators Busy With 'Mikey Murphy's Law'?
The latest speculations claim that "Phineas and Ferb" spin-off has a few chances in the near future as the creators are currently busy with the new animated series "Mikey Murphy's Law."
The Variety reported the rumors that the new episodes for the cartoon series might be released only after the directors Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh have completed the new series episodes.
Earlier, the creators of the series teased the possibility for a spin-off in the coming years.
Even Dan hinted that the cartoon series will make a comeback on the television probably after a decade.
"Never say never," claimed Povenmire as reported by Observer. "They're still making 'Scooby Doo' episodes and we're sort of the 'Scooby Doo' of a generation so I could imagine ten years from now someone dusts this off and, without or without us involved, they make more."
In addition to the director's comments, the speculations for the spin-off of the cartoon series also stirred due to Disney's announcement to air the "Phineas and Ferb" episodes in a continuous loop.
"Animated cartoons don't usually get, to say goodbye," Dan expressed, as reported by Huffington Post. "It's going to play forever on the Disney Channel. There are so many episodes that by the time you're done watching all of them; you'll be ready for the first one again."
Furthermore, the "Phineas and Ferb" spin-off possibility has surfaced owing to the immense popularity of the show, reported Cinema Blend.
The plot of the animated series revolved around the stepbrothers, Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher with a special focus on their adventures, Phineas and Ferb Wikia reported.
Besides, the television series also featured a pet secret agent for O.W.C.A named Perry, to battle against the evil scientist, Dr. Heinz and try to destroy his wicked missions.
Lastly, the new show from the "Phineas and Ferb" creator duo will supposedly focus on Mikey and his adventures. The series will also explore the lead character's secret identity connected to the Murphy Law's creator.
There are speculations that the new animated comedy series is set to be aired in 2017.
