Khloe Kardashian Pressured To Divorce Rehabbing Lamar Odom After Reported Drug Overdose?
Lamar Odom is currently on rehab following the alleged drug overdose inside the Las Vegas brothel room.
Now that the former Los Angeles Lakers champion is on his way to recovery, ex Khloe Kardashian is reportedly facing pressure from boyfriend, James Harden of the Houston Rockets, into resuming divorce proceedings with Lamar.
Khloé has admitted before that she put the divorce proceedings on hold while Lamar Odom recovers from the coma. Although the official reason why he was found unconscious inside a brothel, the tabloids have been speculating that it was due to drug overdose.
An insider reportedly told Life & Style Mag, "James has been pressuring Khloé to put the divorce back in motion. He doesn't like that Khloé is still married to Lamar. It's awkward for him."
"James recently stayed at Khloé's when his team [the Houston Rockets] was in LA to play the LA Clippers and the Lakers. It was supposed to be a very happy time, but instead, he spent it complaining to Khloé about Lamar," it continued.
And Khloé is torn over heeding his boyfriend's demands and giving Lamar Odom more time to finish his rehab allegedly from drug and alcohol overdose.
Odom was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center late Jan. 8 and was transferred to a private house in Calabasas, California close to Khloé's house.
The "Kocktails with Khloé" host recently revealed that she's been at Lamar's bedside while he was in coma.
"I literally didn't leave the room for a month. I wasn't sleeping as well. I went a week without showering," Khloé told Glamour. "I cut all my hair off because I was in the hospital and I just felt like I needed - like once I got out of there for a minute, I was like, 'I need to get rid of this negativity."
There's no update yet on Lamar Odom's condition while in rehab, as well as confirmation that a drug overdose sent him there. But the ex-Laker appeared to be in good spirits as shown on the selfie posted by his son, Lamar Jr., on his Instagram last Dec. 31.
