'Tokyo Ghoul Re' Chapter 61 Spoilers: Mutsuki To Die During Investigation? Arima One Of The 'V'?

The spoilers for chapter 61 "Tokyo Ghoul: Re" tease the death of the lead character, Tooru Mutsuki, with the revelation of Arima's secret identity.

The spoilers suggest that the Rank 1 Ghoul investigator, Mutsuki, will probably die during investigating the Rue Island, Manga Helpers reported. It is also rumored that Torso will captivate Mutsuki and torture her to death.

"I'm thinking that Torso is going to get Mutsuki and seeing the resemblance of the situation, I wouldn't be surprised if he was ending up torturing her but in a way more sexualized way since he's obsessive with her," Manga Helpers user named Byron stated.

Also, My Anime List users speculated that a battle between Mutsuki and Torso may also be featured in "Tokyo Ghoul Re" chapter 61.

Further, the spoilers also suggest that the next chapter will reveal the true identity of Arima. In the earlier chapters, Arima missed almost all the meetings of the council, which led to the suspicion that he was busy with some investigations.

Additionally, Manga Helpers discussion forum user, XXGenesis, claimed that Arima might actually be investigating the "V" along with his own personal squad.

Furthermore, it is also rumored that Arima may use Kaneki to fight against the "V" members as he is a half-ghoul himself and would be able to stand strong against the ghouls.

Moving on, Youth Health Magazine reported that the spoilers for chapter 61 of the manga series will reveal Kaneki's plans to secretly rescue Hinami.

"Split CCG into two factions, one group goes to Rue Island to fight Aogiri, the other party, due to Kaneki's investigation, all go to corner Eto whom they believe is Takatsuki," Reddit Forum user Lantern Wolf revealed. "Meanwhile, no one is left to defend Cochela. It's a repeat of a past move with a bit of forced intervention on Kaneki's part."

The chapter 61 of the manga series "Tokyo Ghoul: Re" is expected to be released on Jan. 23, 2016.
