2026 MAMA Awards Collabs: ENHYPEN x Dune, BIGBANG x Dooly

Mnet announced five special collaboration stages for the 2026 MAMA Awards on October 29, and two of them tie K-pop acts to franchises with very different audiences: ENHYPEN with the film Dune: Part Three, and BIGBANG with the animated series Dooly the Little Dinosaur.

The official @MnetMAMA account posted the list on X under #2026MAMA, tagged "Special Collaborations ONLY@MAMA," with the line "Expect the Unexpected." The five billings:

Panic with CORTIS' Martin and Seonghyeon, WOODZ, ZEROBASEONE's Kim Tae-rae, ALLDAY PROJECT's Woochan and Hearts2Hearts' Yuha, for a joint performance. ENHYPEN with Dune: Part Three, for a stage inspired by the film. BIGBANG with Dooly the Little Dinosaur. MAMA Awards with Lee Bae. MAMA Awards with Google Gemini.

Details are thin. Soompi, citing Naver Entertainment, reports no song titles, choreography or format for any of them. The Lee Bae and Google Gemini billings carry no description at all. Mnet's business division head Yoon Shin-hye gave the only quote tied to a specific pairing, on BIGBANG: "We hope you'll look forward to seeing how BIGBANG and Dooly come together."

The ENHYPEN billing is the one built for a US audience. Dune: Part Three, Denis Villeneuve's closing chapter of the trilogy, is scheduled for December 18, 2026, the same day as Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday, a collision fans have nicknamed "Dunesday." ENHYPEN's comeback is next month, per Soompi, which puts a film tie-in stage and a new release in the same window. Mnet has not tied the pairing to a song.

The BIGBANG pairing leans on nostalgia. Dooly the Little Dinosaur is a long-running Korean animated character, and BIGBANG is performing as a full group for its 20th debut anniversary, their first MAMA appearance together since 2024, according to Esquire Korea. G-Dragon took four awards at last year's ceremony, including Artist of the Year, and promised then to return with his members.

The ceremony runs November 20 and 21 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, hosted by Park Bo-gum, the first ambassador in MAMA history. Its theme is "MOVE THE STARS, A MUSIC INTERSTELLAR," and it streams on Mnet Plus. Per the announced lineup, ENHYPEN performs on November 20 alongside ALLDAY PROJECT, BABYMONSTER, CL, ILLIT and others. BIGBANG performs on November 21 with IVE, LE SSERAFIM, ZEROBASEONE and others. Mnet has not said which night each collaboration will air, or whether the Dune stage falls on ENHYPEN's night.

What remains unanswered is what Lee Bae and Gemini will actually do on stage. Mnet has not said, and the November 20 and 21 shows are the only place left to find out.
