Felix spent his 26th birthday giving away 300 million won. None of it went to himself.

On Tuesday, the Stray Kids member donated 100 million won each - about $221,000 combined - to Samsung Medical Center and Seoul National University Children's Hospital, according to his agency, JYP Entertainment. He added 50 million won each to Books International and the Korean Committee for UNICEF, bringing the total to 300 million won, roughly $221,000.

The Samsung Medical Center funds will cover treatment costs for children and adolescents with cancer. The donation to Seoul National University Children's Hospital supports pediatric patients from financially vulnerable families. Books International will use its share to produce picture books in children's native languages as part of a cultural education program, while the UNICEF portion funds emergency flood relief in Nepal.

"I hope many children's days are filled with clear hope instead of worry," Felix said in a statement released through JYP Entertainment. "I sincerely hope to be a small but warm source of strength for their precious today and tomorrow."

This is now the third straight year Felix has marked his birthday this way. Last year, he donated to Samsung Seoul Hospital and funded UNICEF nutrition and water-sanitation projects for children in Laos alongside a gift to World Vision; in February 2024, he traveled to Laos to see UNICEF's work there in person. He is currently the youngest member of UNICEF's Honor Club, a recognition reserved for the organization's most significant donors. Alongside his Stray Kids bandmates, he also contributed last year to disaster relief efforts closer to home, when the group jointly donated to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association and World Vision for wildfire recovery in South Korea's Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions, and to World Vision Hong Kong following a fire there.

The scale of Tuesday's gift also marks an increase from his past two birthdays, when his donations totaled 200 million won in 2025 and 100 million won in 2024. JYP Entertainment confirmed the full breakdown of Tuesday's donation in a statement to Korean outlets, without specifying whether any of the four organizations had a prior relationship with the singer beyond UNICEF and World Vision.

Hours after Tuesday's donation was announced, Stray Kids took the stage in Buenos Aires for the second night of Straycity - the group's new city-hopping festival format running across three regions of South America, staged alongside their ongoing world tour, Run It.
