U.S. Justice Department to Set Free 6,000 Inmates In An Effort To Reduce Disproportionate Sentences and Prison Overcrowding

6,000 inmates in federal prisons will be released as part of the U.S. government's efforts to reduce overcrowding in prisons and grant relief to prisoners who've been serving sentences disproportionate to their crimes.
