United States Sends 2 B-1B Bombers to South Korea

On Wednesday, the U.S. Air Force deployed two B-1B strategic bombers from the Andersen Air Force Base, Guam to South Korea. Such action is perceived as a show of force against the aggressive North Korea and a demonstration of the South Korea-United States alliance.

North Korea Fumes Over United States' B-1B Bombers Flyover

On Wednesday, North Korea declared its disagreement with the United States' flyover of two B-1B nuclear-capable strategic bombers over South Korea and called the action “reckless provocations.” Officials of the communist nation also said that such activity should stop.

United States Sends B-1B Bombers to South Korea

The United states Forces Korea (USFK) commander said on Tuesday that the flight by two U.S. B-1B bombers over the country signifies the “steadfast and unshakeable” dedication of the United States to its main Asian ally amidst North Korea's latest nuclear test last week.
