Receiver DeSean Jackson of the Washington Redskins had a simple yet somewhat biting message for former Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly: karma still exists in the digital age. "I'm a firm believer that bad karma comes back on you," Jackson told The MMQB.com in an article that had been released on Friday.

Jackson was set free by the Eagles after Kelly finished his first season in 2013. The receiver made it clear during the past off season that he sensed that the Eagles were into a "smear campaign against him, according to ESPN. However, The Eagles eventually booted Kelly out on Tuesday after the team went on a very disappointing finish: a 26-21 over the past three season and not to mention a 6-9 record finish in 2015.

"When you ruin a team like that, you do things to peoples' families, you release people, you trade people, you get rid of good players who build something with the community, with the fans, with the kids -- to have a guy come in and change up the team like that, I just believe in karma," said DeSean Jackson of Washington Redskins.

"I don't have any bad words to say about [Kelly] as far as what he feels he needs on his roster," he added. "But the guys that were on that roster created something special, from Jeremy Maclin to LeSean McCoy to Trent Cole to Todd Herremans and myself and Brandon Boykin -- it goes on and on and on."

"When we were there, we were a brotherhood," the athlete added. "So for everyone to go their separate ways and to see how it all ended up, it's a very sad thing."

DeSean Jackson so far managed 86 receptions for 1,697 yards and 10 touchdowns ever since he started with the Washington Redskins two seasons ago. "Being able to come here and with the kind of success I had in Philly and getting a fresh start was a blessing," he said.
