'Walking Dead' Season 6: Daryl Is Now Negan's Target? Fans Threaten To Riot If Dixon Dies

Many are anticipating "The Walking Dead's" return to AMC on Feb. 14, but some are dreading that fan favorite Daryl Dixon's death could happen in the continuation of Season 6.

It's been confirmed that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who is notorious for killing main characters in comic book, will make his debut in Season 6. Cast member Ross Marquand also hinted in an interview with Comic Book that this particular season's finale is the darkest episode he's ever read. These are all signs of another major character getting killed off by the hands of the show's new antagonist.

The question is - who will Negan kill in the upcoming season? Fan theories claim that there's a real possibility that it's Daryl Dixon.

Fansided explained: "If you talk about the biggest surprise imaginable that the show could deliver, an untimely Daryl death would surely fit the bill."

"The Walking Dead" is known for their "nobody is safe" mantra as they have killed off several main characters throughout its broadcast. Norman Reedus who plays the arguably most popular character in the zombie-drama series, knows this.

"They'll kill me whenever they want," Reedus said in his Details interview. "I would hate to leave the show. I would play this role until I'm 80, I really would. And I could."

Moreover, the actor is set to lead a motorcycle-based show entitled, "Ride with Norman Reedus." Of course, fans speculate that Reedus adding another program to his already busy schedule with "The Walking Dead" could only mean Daryl's death.

Daryl's death has long been the subject of rumors, and fans have thereatened that they will "riot" when that day comes. If his character lives, Reedus will juggle "The Walking Dead" and "Ride With Norman Reedus."
