Rita Ora's Split With Calvin Harris Finally Addressed; Statement Released!
"Body on Me" singer Rita Ora said that she was so much affected by her split with Calvin Harris that even her close pal cannot recognize her anymore.
The 25-year-old British songstress told Elle Canada that her break-up with the Scottish DJ and songwriter made her she "wanted to crawl into bed and die."
"There was a time when my friends were actually like 'We don't recognize you anymore,'" she said. "I was constantly worried about this guy; even while on the road, I would think 'Oh, my God, what is he doing? Let me fly him out."
The "I Will Never Let You Down" singer even added that her mother was asking her if she was okay following her split with the DJ.
The "X Factor" UK judge Rita Ora, who had her split with Calvin Harris after one year of romance, also revealed that her hit song "Poison" was a relevant video for her as it talked about how a relationship that head off for separation, International Business Times said.
"So, for me, 'Poison' is a really relevant video because it shows a form of honesty," she said.
Calvin Harris even took to Twitter to confirm their split.
"To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best," he tweeted.
"I don't usually address speculation but I've had an incredible time w Calvin,& i will treasure the memories," Rita Ora meanwhile told her fans via her social media account.
After Rita Ora and Calvin Harris announced their split in June 2014, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast member started dating Tommy Hilfiger's rapper son Ricky Hil. She then broke-up with him after five months, while the "Summer" hit maker is currently dating Taylor Swift.
