Keira Knightley Glad ‘Therese Raquin’ Broadway Is Over, Celebrates With James Righton And Baby
Keira Knightley finally is released from her commitments on "Therese Raquin" on Broadway. This means that the actress gets to spend some quality time with her husband James Righton and be there for her baby as she gets bigger and older!
According to Just Jared, Keira Knightley said that she considered many times before giving into doing "Therese Raquin". She said, "I think I've been offered [Therese Raquin] twice before, and each time I've turned it down because I thought, 'Whoa! That's too dark and too difficult, and I don't know what to do with it,'... I guess I was just in a place where I felt like I wanted to give it a go."
The fact that Keira Knightley wasn't jumping out of her seats to do this play means that she might have gotten a little sick of it. Good thing that "Therese Raquin" ended its run on Broadway!
Recently Keira Knightley spent her first New Years Eve with her husband James Righton and her baby Edie right on Broadway. According to Daily Mail, "She's been loving motherhood since welcoming her first child earlier this year. And Keira Knightley looked smitten as she stepped out with her baby daughter Edie in New York on Monday, snuggling close to her infant while strolling through the streets. The 30-year-old British actress cuddled her adorable little girl - who was born in May - while walking through the Big Apple with her parents."
Looks like she is clutching Edie close to her heart as 2015 come to an end.
The couple recently showed the world that their baby was in no way preventing them from proving that they are the most glamorous couple. According to Daily Mail, "The 30-year-old oozed heaps of elegance as she arrived at New York's Lincoln Center for the An Evening Honoring Valentino with her husband James Righton. Preened to perfection, the British beauty highlighted her slender physique in a stylish one-shoulder gown and a chic black cape."
Recently Keira Knightley had her life completely changed by her new baby girl and it looks like the actress can't wait to get her Broadway performance out of the way to spend more time with her budding family.
According to Just Jared, Keira Knightley hinted that her bad reviews for "Therese Raquin" didn't faze her as much, thanks to her baby. She said, "I'm really grateful that I've become a mother while doing something this unbelievably difficult. Because honestly the worst that could happen is that you fail. And that's fine."
She added, "I think motherhood puts everything into perspective, I really do. Ultimately, as long as my kid is all right, everything is fine."
That does make bad "Therese Raquin" reviews inconsequential.
