'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Favourite CGI-Villain To Battle Team Arrow In Another Crossover Episode
Earlier "The Flash" season 2 spoilers revealed the STAR Labs team will meet two villains when they make a trip to Earth-2. Worse part is that these villains are wearing familiar faces, making it hard for them to stop.
New Earth-2 villains are not the only ones expected in the second half of the season. The old ones are coming back. Good thing though is that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will get help from his friends in Team Arrow from Starling City.
David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle in "Arrow" where "The Flash" was spun from, is heading to Central City to help Barry track down a villain that once whooped his ass - King Shark.
"The Diggles arrive in Central City to help Barry take on King Shark who has escaped from ARGUS and is hellbent on completing his mission of destroying The Flash," showrunner Andrew Kreisberg says in exclusive interview with ComicBook.com.
This spoiler for "The Flash" season 2 has been 'half-revealed' by Ramsey himself when he posted on Instagram a photo of himself in "The Flash" set.
Also guesting is Audrey Marie Anderson who plays Diggle's wife Layla and also a member of A.R.G.U.S. They will appear in the fifteenth episode.
King Shark, which was 100% made through CGI in the show, first appeared in "The Fury of Firestorm" and was voiced by David Hayter. He found himself in the original earth after he was sent by this season's main villain Zoom to kill Barry Allen.
However, before he ends the Scarlet Speedster's life, Patty Spivot came and fire some shots on him. He was distracted and little did King Shark knows is that at the back of him is Earth-2 Harrison Wells who has the very weapon that knows how to stop him.
King Shark, a villain mostly associated to Superman, is intended to appear only once due to budget issues.
"It was just fun for us, because obviously we can't afford to do an entire King Shark episode, so the idea that he's one of Zoom's minions," Kreisberg said a couple months ago. "He said, 'Zoom sent me here to kill you.' He's just the latest in another line, which does mean that there is a King Shark on Earth-1, now that we've designed him."
