Paul Walker's Father Blames Porsche For Son's Death; Justin Bieber To Replace Actor In 'Fast And Furious 8?'

Following the death of the "Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013 while riding in a Porsche Carrera GT sports car with his friend Roger Rodas, Walker's father Paul William Walker III reportedly sued Porsche and blamed the automaker company for his son's death.

The suit claimed that the car's lack of safety features were to be blamed, adding that it could have saved his son or allowed them to survive at the very least when the accident occurred.

Moreover, it was also stated that the designed seat belt locked the actor during the car crash, who was alive before the vehicle burst into flames.

A report was released in 2014 from Los Angeles Sheriff's department that revealed the car travelled 80 to 93 mph that was beyond the required 45 mph speed limit. Porsche later filed a motion in response to the suit wherein the company stated that Walker was to be blamed for his death.

"Mr. Walker's death, and all other injuries or damages claimed, were the result of Mr. Walker's own comparative result," the document stated, according to AJC.

Walker's death dominated the social media with his fans asking if "Fast and Furious" 8 would still be possible without him.

The eighth franchise was confirmed last year and it was announced that the cast are set to reprise their respective roles for the movie. However, fans are still left asking who will replace Paul Walker.

"I can't tell you yet, but he won't be in the film as a performer, as an actor the way we did last time," NBC Universal vice chairman Ron Meyer said.

Rumor has it that Cody Walker is set to replace his brother in the new F&F franchise. While Cody may be the closest pick for the role, Justin Bieber was also speculated to take over the actor's role.

"Justin's currently training five days a week to acquire the physique that director James Wan is looking for," a source claimed, as quoted in Morning Ledger. "He'll be acting alongside much more physically imposing actors such as The Rock and Vin Diesel, so it's important that Justin's body be up to par."

As to who will take over Paul Walker's role as Brian O'Connor in the movie still emains a hanging question, "Fast and Furious" 8 is set to hit theatres on April 14, 2017.
