The actress has been busy even in the midst of an emotional split with her ex-fiance. Recently, she revealed on Instagram that she was gun training for her upcoming movie project, "John Wick 2," a sequel to the 2014 film, "John Wick" starring Keannu Reeves.

"Shot a skull in the eyes and bottom of the playing card #newmovie #training," Ruby Rose wrote on Instagram, last Jan. 1 along with a video clip showing a very small  target.

"Good news is, you shot very well," said a man in the video clip. "Bad news is, you're not related to me!"

According to The Daily Telegraph, Rose is set to play a sniper in "John Wick 2" although it has yet to be confirmed.

Behind the actress' escapades posted on her social media account as well as her growing career, her love life doesn't seem to be going so well.

Recently, the "Orange is the New Black" actress revealed she and fiancé Phoebe Dahl decided to split up and end their engagement.

"Phoebe remains very dear to my heart," Ruby Rose wrote on Facebook, dated Dec. 14. "I will forever treasure our time together."

"I'm a better person because of the time we shared," she added. "They say, 'It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.' I'm lucky to have had the chance to love her."

According to E! News, the ex-couple's break-up was "completely amicable" and that there was no third-party involved - the former couple reportedly broke up due to long distance issues.

Meanwhile, Phoebe Dahl expressed her feelings for Ruby Rose post break-up not on Instagram, but on Twitter. "@RubyRose you have brought me to my best and I will always love you," Dahl wrote. "I can't wait to see what the future brings for us."
