Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell have been dating for months now and there are speculations that the two may now be engaged.

According to a report, Stowell spent the holidays with Dobrev and her family in a posh ski vacation in Utah. Many fans of "The Vampire Diaries" alum noticed a particular Instagram post that could hint at a possible engagement.
"What to make of the pic where the lights are turned down low and Nina is possibly holding a glass of champagne?" Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote, pertaining to the social media post by Ian Somerhalder's former girlfriend.
"Austin and Nina are peering into a round item that is it shining back at them. It could just be a reflection from dimmed chandelier in the background that gives that effect," the report continued. "What is that round gift? Is it a mirror reflecting how bright the future may be for Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell?"
Though Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell are yet to comment on speculations that they are engaged, many Hollywood watchers may not be too shocked if the rumors were true.
"Stowell's birthday was December 24, Dobrev's is January 9. Maybe Austin decided the intoxicating combo of the Christmas and New Year's holiday, his birthday and Nina's upcoming birthday was the perfect opportunity to pop THE question?" CDL wrote.
Nina Dobrev's relationship with Austin Stowell has much been targeted by skeptics in the past, speculating that the actress could only be using him to get away from Ian Somerhalder's shadow.
A few months after his break up with Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder got engaged and married Dobrev's friend, Nikki Reed.
According to previous reports, the married couple is planning to build a family.
