Selena Gomez Quits Instagram? 'Good For You' Singer Leaves Phone While On Vacation!
Selena Gomez recently swore off Instagram (and all forms of social media) when she went on a vacation with a group of friends. Staying away from news about Justin Bieber reportedly dating his best friend, Hailey Baldwin, perhaps?
A few days ago, the "Good for you" singer and her close friends took a vacation in the tropics, ringing in the New Year sans one thing - her phone. Thus, keeping away from her social media accounts.
On a photo posted after their tropical getaway, the former nickelodeon star explained why she purposely left her mobile phone at home.
"Left my phone behind to be present!" Selena Gomez wrote on Instagram. "I am so grateful for the people I've met this year but more importantly for the people who have been consistent and by my side through thick and thin."
The 23-year-old added: "That'd be YOU. Thank you for another year! Love you guys!"

Although the former Disney Star had no electronic gadget on her during her vacation, her friends took the liberty of posting photos.
The singer's rumored boyfriend, Samuel Krost, uploaded a photo of the group as they ate and hung out by the beach.
"PURA VIDA," Krost captioned the picture, which translates to "pure life."

Meanwhile, Caro Franklin posted a photo with the whole gang on a yacht, with the scene bearing a slight resemblance to the Kardashians' recent St. Barth's vacation.
In April, a photo of "Come and Get it" singer in a bikini also gained a lot of attention but for all the wrong reasons. The paparazzi shot showed the "Good For You" singer in a pink bikini that's too small for her, which made her look like she gained weight.
During her appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show in October, the singer slammed people who shamed her for her body in the said picture.
"I don't want them to win," Selena Gomez said about her Instagram photo. "It's so annoying when I see it all over the place and everybody thinks they can bring me down."
