Saoirse Ronan Calls Ryan Gosling 'A Blond Canadian Jesus,' Actress Explains!

Recently, Saoirse Ronan called actor and director Ryan Gosling a "blond Canadian Jesus." She called Gosling such for some reason that a lot of people have been suspecting on, according to People. 

The 21-year-old "Brooklyn" Actress became somewhat really ecstatic when the Canadian actor noted that not a single person could pronounce her name with Irish origin, until the actor intervened at the 2016 Palm Springs Internation Festival Gala on Saturday. For the record, her name is pronounced as "Ser-sha."

Ryan Gosling, who presented Saoirse Ronan with the New Hollywood Awars at the Hollywood Film Awards in November, said, "It's Sersha - like inertia." After that, people have become more knowledgeable on how to pronounce her name in the correct manner.

"Someone sent me a photo two weeks later of a cinema in Minnesota, and on the sign in the front it said "Brooklyn" and then underneath it said, 'Ser-sha, Like Inertia," Ronan said in an interview with People. "I couldn't believe it! They actually put it on the front of the cinema, so the power of Ryan Gosling is stronger than anything else." 

In addition, Gosling also said that Ronan is one of his favorite actresses - and people - while he was presenting her award. "He's like, Jesus or something, like a blond Canadian Jesus," Ronan said.

In a report posted in Radio Times, the Irish actress has learned of her Golden Globe nomination while she was having her nails done at the nail salon. Ronan is nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama, for her performance in "Brooklyn" as an Irish immigrant.

"I was in the nail salon getting my nails done and my phone kept dining, but I couldn't answer because my nails were wet. When I finally answered, I got the news," she told People some time ago, as cited by the source above. "I told everyone at the salon. They were congratulating me, and we even popped champagne."

Since the news broke out, fans have been eyeing Ryan Gosling and Saoirse Ronan to be a pair in real life. They said the two have good chemistry.
