'John Wick 2' Filming Resumes In Rome; Ruby Rose Shares Her Workout Regimen For Film

Fans are looking forward to the first "John Wick 2" trailer as filming has wrapped up in New York.

The sequel to last year's suprise hit began filming in the last quarter of 2015 in New York City. Since then, behind-the-scenes footage of the film has emerged online.

A video from Movie Trailers shows Wick (played by Keanu Reeves) walking on the streets of Chinatown, when he turns around and notices he's being tailed. He then proceeds to take the man down along with a few other henchmen hiding around a corner.

More recent set photos from @JohnWickUpdates' Twitter show Reeves bloodied with scrapes across his face running around Central Park with his dog.

Just Jared confirmed that production in the U.S. has wrapped up and will move to Italy this year. Naturally, fans of the franchise are looking forward to seeing an early cut of the "John Wick 2" trailer.

Joining Reeves are Ruby Rose ("Orange Is The New Black") who plays the movie's main antagonist as a female crime lord and Common ("Smokin' Aces") as the head of her security. Also appearing are Riccardo Scamarcio ("Burnt"), Peter Stormare ("Constantine," "Prison Break"), Ian McShane as Winston, Bridget Moynahan as Helen Wick, John Leguziamo as Aurelio and Lance Reddick as Charon.

The first movie centered on John Wick, an assassin forced out of retirement to seek revenge when the son of his former employer assaulted him and killed his dog, which was a gift from his deceased wife.

"John Wick" made $14.1 million on its opening weekend and eventually made $43 million domestically and nearly $80 million worldwide.

Producers have yet to announce a release date for the "John Wick 2" trailer.
