'Rocket League' Update On PS4 Fixes More Issues; Success Causes Game Launch On Xbox One!
The new "Rocket League" update on the PS4 has fixed more issues of the game and has introduced new features, according to Lawyer Herald.
The new update that Psyonix launched last month has given players new features to try out like the hockey feature. It also introduced different kinds of free accessories to try out, which relatively made the gameplay better.
Fans and new players only have high praises to give to the game developers right now due to the amount of fun this game gives.
It was also announced that "Rocket League" has gotten nine million players globally. Due to that, Psyonix has revealed that the game will have a lot of "new content, new modes, new DLC, new Arenas and plenty of other cool things to keep you coming back" for 2016.
Also upcoming "Rocket League" updates may not be limited only to PS4 and PC.
It was announced that "Rocket League" will be coming to the Xbox One, according to Venture Capital Post. It was announced on Xbox Wire that Psyonix has decided to release an Xbox One version of the game.
There are still no specific details on the release date of the Xbox One version, but it was noted that it might be coming this February.
However, there was one issue which was announced after that news a few weeks ago. "Rocket League" will come to the Xbox One, but sadly this version will not have a crossplay feature, according to Game Rant.
Only PC and PS4 users will get the chance to enjoy the crossplay feature, while Xbox One players will be limited to facing off each other in the game.
Meanwhile, Psyonix explained that the only reason why the said feature is not available to the current-gen Microsoft console was because the console does not allow crossplay at all.
Some game websites are puzzled by this because other Xbox One titles are able to do crossplay. There were no other statements coming from Pysonix to clarify this argument, however.
For the meantime, game fans are still waiting for a new "Rocket League" news update for PS4, PC and soon Xbox One as well.
