'Fate/Grand Order' Game Gets Trailer Featuring New Servants [VIDEO]
The new year has brought many new things for many different franchises. In particular, there's a new planned "Fate/stay night" project in the works, but there also appears to be more for the franchise in 2016.
That is to say, you may be getting a new servant in the near future.
Recently, Type-moon revealed a new trailer for the "Fate/Grand Order" mobile game. The new trailer, available to view below, features a preview of new possible servants and the new section of the game. The "Fate/grand Order" game is now available for both the Android and iOS platforms.
Anime News Network reports that 'Fate/Grand Order" will approach a fourth scenario entitled "A.D. 1888, Shikai Makiri Toshi London," that is depicted in the trailer. The new servants that are previewed include Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Charles Babbage, and Mordred. The game is said to contain seven chapters and total more than 1 million Japanese characters. Each servant has a specific story scenario.
For those not familiar with the game, ANN also reports the followings scenario for "Fate/grand order":
"The game takes place in 2015. The player takes the role of either a male or female amateur master candidate from the 'humanity continuation security organization' named 'Caldea'."
It goes on:
"The organization exists to amend the periods of human history that have gone awry and out of order. The protagonists use the 'Fate' system to summon great heroes of the past and undertake seven Holy Grail quests (called Grand Orders)."
The original "Fate/stay night" creator Kinoko Nasu is credited for writing and overseeing the original scenario for the game alongside Yuichiro Higashide and Hikaru Sakurai. Takashi Takeuchi created the original characters and art, however the game features designs by a number of different artists.
